Find the secret door from the formal gardens and enter a hidden little garden with an entirely different atmosphere - a place that allows the imagination to run free! Shaded by pine trees, and planted with hostas and ferns, it’s cool, calm and peaceful.

A short ramp leads you over a small stream and onto a sunny deck. With views over the Wildlife Pond and animal paddocks it's the perfect place ‘to stand and stare’.

This area is also home to our barn owl and energetic chipmunks.  The bark path leads you past the chipmunks - look up and watch them race around the tunnels above you head – and on to a quiet corner where you can sit and relax.
